Justin "J.T." Turner

Q:  Favorite class:  Math is my strength in school, I mean I am good at the other subjects such as science just not as good.

Q:  Who is or was your favorite teacher and why?  My first grade teacher at Smith Elementary because she taught me a lot especially when I got in trouble.  She would always tell me to stop running with or hanging around certain kids who would drag me down or even influence me to do things I know I shouldn't do.

Q:  Were you born in Massillon?  Yes. I lived over there by Jackson Ave., but I been in the Massillon City Schools all my life.

Q:  Favorite food:  Grandma's chicken/mom's spaghetti

Q:  What game is in your PlayStation2 right now? Madden 07

Q:  What other sports do you play besides basketball?  Football this year, but I should be in track; I will be next year.  I did play baseball for awhile but I got sick of getting hit with the ball.

Q:  What do you think of Coach Tom Stacy?  Good guy, great coach, good person...how about Coach Creamer?  Same; both are honest and straight up with us players and we need that.

Q:  Who is your most influential person? Mom (Why?) because she has taught me everything and I've been with her all my life.

Q:  Do you feel Massillon will be a contender for state?  Oh yeah I think so.  There are other teams in the area that are good, but all we can do is go out there and get the job done.

Q:  What is your strength and what can you contribute to the Massillon basketball program?  Rebounding, I'm like one of the biggest guys on the team so I got to get the ball.  With the loss of Rico Wells and Greg Fite were you asked to step up or did you figure you would be called upon?  Yes, I mean I'm young but they left and I know that I have to work harder now.
